Cleaner

Pay: $20.00 – $27.89 per hour

Job description:

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, including industrial, commercial, and food production settings. This role is crucial to ensuring a safe and hygienic space for employees and customers alike. This role requires extensive overnight travel. This job will require a valid drivers license.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas in production facilities.

• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks to maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in food processing and manufacturing environments.
• Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure effective sanitation practices are followed.
• Operating of lift equipment will be required.
• Confined space work will be required.
• Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and moving of equipment or materials as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.

Experience

• Familiarity with industrial cleaning standards, especially in food production or manufacturing settings, is a plus.

• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
• Experience in warehouse environments is advantageous but not mandatory.

Full Time Team Member

Pay: $55,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year

Job Overview
We are a semi-national industrial cleaning and painting company based in Danville, Virginia. Our clients include many of the leading international manufacturing companies and brands, and we work throughout 20 states. We are currently hiring full-time team members to help fulfill our rapidly growing customer demands. Job duties and expectations will include the following:

1. Perform a variety of heavy industrial cleaning tasks such as ice blasting, power washing, scraping, and hand cleaning in heavy manufacturing environments.
2. The ability to work comfortably and safely at heights (company provided training, certifications, and safety equipment).
3. The ability to work comfortably and safely in confined spaces (company provided training, certifications, and safety equipment).
4. The availability to travel for projects extensively throughout various states spending multiple days at a time away from home (company provided vehicles, hotels, and daily stipends).
5. Previous industrial painting experience is a huge plus, but not required.
6. Legally and safely operate company provided vehicles.
