Atkins Promoted to Industrial Division GM

Danville, VA – Floor Care Specialists, Inc. (FCS) is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeff Atkins to the role of General Manager of the Industrial Services Division. During his three years as the Director of Sales & Marketing at FCS, Atkins gained a thorough understanding of the company’s operations, employees, and customer base. It was this knowledge and experience that made him the best candidate for the position according to Conrad Smith, FCS chief executive officer.

“Jeff has been an integral part of the company’s growth over the last few years, and he’s been more than just a salesman,” Smith said. “Being a small business, a lot of us have to wear different hats, so even in his sales and marketing role Jeff has stepped up to take on operations management duties on a number of projects.”

Atkins says he is excited for the opportunity and eager to find ways to improve the company’s efficiency and effectiveness in delivering a wide range of services to customers throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

“FCS is growing and the service business can be extremely unpredictable, so there will be challenges with this new role,” Atkins said, “But, that is part of what makes the job fun! I love being part of the FCS team, and I’m excited to get to work building on the continued success of the company.”

Atkins began his new role in January of 2020 and will oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Industrial Services Division.
